Close to 30,000 runners showed up on the streets of Tempe outside Sun Devil Stadium April 20 to honor fallen U.S. soldier Pat Tillman and his legacy of service.

The ASU alum and former Sun Devil football player, who died serving his country in 2004, is at the heart of the annual Pat's Run, now in its ninth year.

Arizona State University head football coach Todd Graham, his staff and the team will begin spring practice at 8:30 a.m., March 19, at the Kajikawa Practice Facility. ASU's 15 spring practice sessions will culminate with the highlight being the annual Football Fan Fest presented by MidFirst Bank on April 13. The Pac-12 Network will provide coverage of the event from Sun Devil Stadium, beginning at 11 a.m.

Jackie Shipp, a former NFL linebacker who led the Miami Dolphins to the 1985 Super Bowl and who has spent the past 22 years coaching college football, including four national championship games, has been named to the coaching staff at Arizona State University, head coach Todd Graham announced Feb. 26.

Arizona State University has signed 27 student-athletes to national letters of intent Wednesday to study and participate in football, head coach Todd Graham announced.

Coach Graham’s second signing class at ASU provides the Sun Devils with excellent talent on offense, defense and special teams, and includes players from multiple states across the country.

Sutton's 2012 season ranks as one of the most dominant in school history

ASU defensive tackle Will Sutton, after meeting with family and head coach Todd Graham, has decided to return to ASU for his senior season.

Sutton became the first Sun Devil since Terrell Suggs in 2002 to earn consensus First Team All-America honors after being recognized by the American Football Coaches Association, The Sporting News and the Associated Press, as well as the Walter Camp Football Foundation (second team).

The Arizona State University football team put it in the left lane, with the hammer down early and often, on Dec. 29, as the team routed Navy, 62-28, to win the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl in San Francisco.

A 34-7 halftime lead set the tone for a dominating third quarter that saw ASU score four touchdowns to blow the game open even further – three of which coming in 55 seconds or less as the team set a new school record for points scored in a bowl game. The 28 points was the most scored in a quarter in ASU bowl history.

The ASU football team, under the leadership of senior associate athletic director Jean Boyd, helped those in need in the Phoenix community this holiday season.

During a pre-Christmas St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance Mobile Pantry distribution at Palamino Grade School, more than 30 ASU players sorted food, packed food boxes and distributed food boxes for over 300 families in the community.

The team takes on the Navy Midshipmen in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl, Dec. 29, in San Fransisco.
