A new partnership between Arizona State University and the City of Phoenix is making way for a new ASU Baseball venue for the start of the 2015 season: the Phoenix Municipal Stadium.

The 19th-ranked Arizona State University baseball team completed a three-game series sweep over Long Beach State with an 11-2 win on March 10, at Packard Stadium in Tempe, Ariz.

The Sun Devils (10-2-1) held Long Beach State scoreless in 26 of 27 innings over the weekend and did not commit an error in all three games. The pitching staff allowed just 11 hits and issued only six walks in the series, while the offense outscored the Dirtbags, 21-2.

The 24th-ranked Arizona State University baseball team tied Gonzaga, 6-6, in eight innings on March 3 at Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Ariz. The game was called after the eighth inning due to Gonzaga's pre-arranged travel plans.

This is the first tie game for ASU since March 4, 2001, when the Devils tied No. 2 LSU 5-5 at Packard Stadium in Tempe, Ariz.

A pair of two-run homers and eight nearly flawless innings of pitching led the 22nd-ranked Arizona State University baseball team to a 5-1 series finale win over Tennessee, Feb. 24, at Lindsey Nelson Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn.

The Sun Devils (4-2) won their second series of the season and have now won 14 consecutive series in February, including all eight under head coach Tim Esmay.
